Key Features

All-in-one Power Control System
Zero Output and Load Monitoring
Overload control
Fail-safe support

The Synora Edge Center is an all-in-one Power Control System. It combines the Synora EHX2 gateway with a revenue-grade energy meter and Rogowski coils (RCT24-1000-10M). 208 to 600 VAC breaker input. Supports 0-export, power throttle, and basic PCS applications without additional hardware.

Combines the Synora EHX2 gateway is capable of performing control cycles of less than 2 seconds for up to 32 inverters. Meets dynamic load changes with “Zero Output and Load Monitoring” function

The installer just needs to find the right AC Busbar at the Grid Input location and install the Roche coil correctly. Turn on the 600VAC input to realize “Zero Export”

Synora 4Q-scheduling feature included by default. Create schedules to perform fixed PV output, or automatic zero export

The Synora EHX2 gateway can be includes 4G Modem (SIM card not included), Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and BLE communication channels. Purchase additional SIM Kit with 5 years of data plan and support for AT&T+T-Mobile+Verizon

Power control functions

PV power throttle: apply fixed PV output limits to a daisy-chained inverter fleet on a configurable schedule.

0-export (power export/import limit): monitors power at the point of common coupling (PCC) in real time with high-speed inverter control. PV generation stays maximized even when load fluctuates, while zero power feeds back into the grid. When retrofitting BESS, the gateway controls BESS charging power to prevent AC busbar overcurrent.

Overload control: detects busbar overload via CT/RCT measurements and issues shutdown commands to inverters. For stricter regulatory requirements, shunt trip units can be installed on main circuit breakers, triggered by gateway DO outputs.

Target applications

  • Commercial rooftop solar with decentralized inverter deployment
  • Multi-building campus 0-export (VLAN-connected inverters across 20+ buildings)
  • Mixed-brand inverter fleets needing unified Modbus TCP control
  • Sites requiring PPC curtailment for utility compliance
  • BESS retrofit projects with busbar overload protection
  • Sites where multiple stakeholders need simultaneous monitoring access
